So, it was a great feeling when Humphrys scored and we stayed up with only minutes of the season remaining but what if things had been different ? We probably wouldn't have Kevin Bond as our manager or the new signings he has made. I think Ron would have gone for an experienced manager with a proven record in the lower leagues who would be aiming to build a hardworking team around our young talent, capable of a promotion push. We might have been looking forward to an exciting season where we were amongst the best sides in the division. Right now that sounds a lot more attractive than another year like the last. I know we would have lost money but I can't see us getting decent crowds unless something changes and Ron might be facing a hefty billl to pay off Bond and his coaching team too.

Very difficult to say, my guess is we'd have finished mid/lower mid table with every half decent player having left. I'd prefer to take our chances still in League one, hopefully despite the awful start we can turn things around.

Going down without a dead cert guarantee of coming back up is never the right option from division one (there might be a parachute payment argument for the Premier league but even then I'd take some convincing)

Are we really doing the “we would’ve been better off getting relegated” PLEASEEEEEEEE EVERYONE PLEASE, I can’t handle it hahaha.

You should never accept relegation unless it's a situation that would financially cripple you to avoid.
What I am wondering is why on earth we passed up Darrell Clarke or Paul Hurst.
I was firmly in the PB in camp to the end, and if I'm honest I think we've gone backwards since losing him as a club.
I don't advocate changing manager at this point in the season ever, and you won't get a proper idea of where we are until 10 games in, but left field appointments rarely work.

Its not to late to do a Bury if anyone thinks L1 is to much for them.

If we are turned down over FF this season then that would be the sensible and perhaps only option for Ron anyway.
