its everyones boyhood dream and in most cases dream of a lifetime to become a professional footballer. What if you were offered a trial up at the scum?

Firstly, would you take the offer?

Secondly, if you decided to take the trial and was offered a contract, would you take it?

Nah, I couldn't bring myself to play for Southend

never - if i was good enough to play for the scum, i'd rather get paid less and risk it at a lower level club EVEN if i meant i never made it big time
Can you imagine celebrating a goal or promotion or anything?
It would make me sick!

Hell yes! I see Col******r as our rivals, but I'm not going to waste my time hating people because they support/play for another football team. Playing football is a fantastic way to make a living, and I would (have) take(n)* a contract from anyone who would (have) pay(ed) me to play!

*At the age of 49, I'm starting to suspect that my chances of a football career are gone..

Supporting Everton never stopped Steve McManaman and Robbie Fowler playing for Liverpool. Nothing got in the way of Wayne 'Forever Blue' Rooney when Man Utd came in for him.

If someone was stupid enough to pay me money to play football, I'd wear any shirt they offered.

Apart from Chelsea obviously, I hate those bastards.
