My daughter has told me of the odd party for that age that has got out of hand in the Shoebury and Thorpe Bay area's. I asked the same thing, how are they getting all the booze? She said they all know the odd shop that will sell it to them without any age check.

Painter and decorator got back from his holiday today, expecting him to go straight back to work on our new house, and he's just informed us that he couldn't get the job moved that followed on from ours as he told us he would, so now we're looking for someone to work the next 4 or 5 days - anyone?!!!

Why? We've got ours from Magnet and are very pleased with it - the previous one, from Wren, at our old house, was a bloody nightmare as @Cricko can confirm, and I would advise anyone to steer clear!

Our previous was from Wren and it was ok, I had no problems with it but only lived with it for a year. We're going with Ikea as peace seems to have broken out temporarily.
