What is happening in our country?

Unfortunetly I think it's too late, there's too many tv programs/video games that children that age are allowed to play and watch and they are heavily influenced by these and then go and act it out in real life!

Simple - blame lies with parents who have kids as a fashion accessory rather than seeing it as a life-long responsibility.

Sadly, you don't have to take a test to prove you're worthy of having children - any feckwit can do it, and they tend to do it more often than the intelligent, responsible folk who bring their kids up properly.

Simple Maths - the top end gets smaller and the bottom gets fatter.

A child is for life - not just a reason for buying a fake burberry pushchair.

How many video games are on the market with scenes of rape in them?

to be fair probably not many, but the games i played as a kid involved jumping onto platforms and collecting coins, the most violent was SF2 featuring invincible cartoon charachters knocking each other out.
nowadays some kids are playing games that involve pulling of coke deals, or mowing down pedestrians with a car of machine gun. thats got to have an effect.
plus a really cheeky priveledge when i was growing up was watching blackadder or Red Dwarf after the watershed!!! where i hear words like smeg, and bugger off, and blimey!
now after 9 its full on hardcore with some programmes,
call me a prude but some things just arent meant for kids.
plus like a few others on this board we can remember life before the internet. nowadays kids can mis-spel something like facebook on google and be hit with some serious porn.
its all gone too far, and its too late,
but still for every nightmare kid, theres a good one.
