New running shoes arrived. Haven’t bought a new pair for 5 years and I’ve splashed out with these ones.

Talking of running. I've just finished a 10km run, my first for about 2.5 weeks (mainly because it's been too hot out). As I started I could see a huge rain cloud out to the North of me. By the time I got to 6.75km it had started raining, and by just under 8km it was chucking it down.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, even if it was relatively slow. My main worry was that my feet would get wet, and I hate having wet feet when I'm wearing socks, but actually they only got very slightly damp. Worries abated, more rain please!

I love running in the rain, especially in the summer.
