Never underestimate the ways in which parents and adults can suck all of the fun out of children's sports. Grassroots football is an absolute nightmare as well.

Totally. This guy is just using this group to line his own pocket and giving the club a bad name (in their opinion). Either way, the quicker all the boys have an equal chance and are free from one coach's ego the better.
 
I was given a dawes kingpin commuter folding bike over the weekend. I have got frame back together, wheels, tyres etc sorted and it rides nicely, cleaned up well to.
New they are £600 quid, so I now have my transport to get me to and from FF for 2023.

As it happens, yesterday I received a message on LI from one of my previous places seeing if I was available. I'm not, but was pleased because I had a bad feeling that I had burned my bridges through a misunderstanding.

Mate, I ask because I can't imagine supporting any other team, but do you support them fully or more an interested follower?
If I ever persuade Mrs G to up sticks I can't think I would bother with a local football scene.

I'm a long term season card holder (well over 20 years now).But in answer to your question I like to see live football regularly and cant stand Bar$a.
