I buy music on a regular basis, I recently bought some Jackie Mclean CDs, some Mahler Symphonies as well as Mysterines, Crystal Fighters and Fontaines DC. Its a never ending process for me.

I've bought well over 100 physical records already this year. Mostly old 7" singles as I'm currently on a mission to own every single released between 1952 and 1999 that went top 40 in the UK and which I consider to be great.

The only new releases I've bought this year are the new Sharon Van Etten album on vinyl...

And a couple of new Joe Meek compilation box sets on CD.

I am a computer games geek so I get why people are hung up on physical media.

Spotify serves my musical needs

The last one I bought was Document by REM. I've never played it. I ripped it onto Apple music or whatever it was called and then downloaded it onto a memory stick for the car. I had every REM album from Green onwards and bought the CD 2nd had because it was cheaper than paying for an electronic copy.

All that just indicates how long ago it was. It must have been about 8-9 years ago.

Doves - Constellations for the Lonely on CD and Orange Vinyl (I don't buy much vinyl but will get the occasional ltd. ed.)
Ultravox - Lament (Steven Wilson mixes)
Dave Brons - Live in the Shire
The Dream Academy - Religion, Revolution and Railways box set
