I think you'll find that that less than half-hearted performance in the ESC merely confirmed many people's view of him...

Plenty of attitude but without the talent or application to back it up.

Many fans ? The attendance was 335 and half of them were from Canvey.

The reason why many fans didn't like him was that he wasn't very good.

As for Thurgood he was probably our best player when we didn't have the ball and our worst player when we did.
