I'd say around 10th. As with recent seasons we're a decent L2 side but lack enough strength in depth. We'll beat a top side away one week & lose at home to a bottom side the next. Must say though, under Paul Sturrock's brand of football if we'd been mid-table with no likelihood of promotion, crowds would have dropped to around 3500 by now. But thanks to PB's more 'easy on the eye' style the crowds seem to be holding up around the 5000 mark. Just goes to show all those who said PS's style of football will drive the fans away may have had a point.

Our crowds are about the same though (slightly higher average wise this year),and for a large part of last season we were mid table with little hope of promotion and still didnt ever get 3,500.

That may be so JM but you can't dispute a lot of posters on here constantly moaned about how we played under PS (I wasn't one of them, by the way) and crowds were dropping. The point I'm making is if PS was still here and we were where we are now, playing his brand of football, in my opinion crowds would be lower than they are. The point being, in my opinion, the more attractive football is keeping the crowds steady even though the league position is disapointing.

Ok all, entries on this thread dribbled to a halt about a week ago, so here is the table based on your current best guesses. You still have until 30[SUP]th[/SUP] November 2013 to change your minds.

With no end to the embargo in sight, the festive period will put paid to any hopes of a play-off tilt we might've had as injuries, suspensions and fatigue force the younger members of the squad into the starting line-ups.

We'll be indifferent and largely inconsistent, struggling to piece together results as we're unable to field a familiar line-up. Brown will come under increasing pressure and, with us lying comfortably outside the play-offs, Brown will either leave citing off-field differences with the chairman, or he'll be sacked with Martin citing a lack of passion from the squad in saving what is almost certainly a lost season. Shaw will follow, but Penney will stay to take over the squad for the rest of the season, with both Penney and Coughlan standing down at the end of the season.

Martin Allen will be appointed in the summer, tasked with rebuilding a squad funded predominately by the sales of Bentley and Leonard. Allen will get us on Sky Sports News by asking for a local to come and help in learn how to sign, before claiming the squad to not be fit enough.

Incredible really, after nearly a third of the season only 6 points separates 1st to 13th. Just shows no one is particularly consistent. Everyone's winning games they expected to lose and visa versa. Oh well makes it interesting I suppose.

I could seriously see this happening :hilarious:
