This question occurred to me yesterday when sending a flippant tweet to Napster -can anyone name the oldest living ex-Southend United player?

Nope, but I did see Bill Garner at Waitrose this morning looking as grey as me!

Probably still not old enough, but Eddie Firmani is 82 and still going. I only mention Bill by the way because he used to play cricket for our evening league side.

I believe Errol Crossan is still alive and well living back n Canada, born 6th Oct 1930, making him 85 years old.

Can we include our own sprightly John Crickson?

John is still very much a player.
