My theory is he actually left the club on the 30th and has since conducted a vendetta against his successor via the Zone.

Personally I think its Yorkshire Blue (who I respect massively on this board).

I always assumed that the name was somehow a reference to Wignall, mainly because of Wiggys appearance around that time.
