Lincoln have done well, but whoever goes there is on a hiding to nothing. Following the Cowleys is not going to be easy.

Yes ideally it would be great to have a new man in place for Saturday. However, it has to be the right man, get iit wrong and we will be relegated for sure.

No future manager can accept the post on back F.F they have to deal with the present situation,F.F could still be years away and they will more likely have moved on by then.

Interested to see in the Echo ex players who played with Barrett say he is the right man for the job, they should have a good understanding of his ability.

unless, of course, the Echo feel that pro-Barrett stories might get more coverage than X, Y and Z coming out and saying he shouldn't? Just a thought.

I hope that whoever the new guy is, he strikes a balance between the way he wants to play and the ability of the players to carry it out. That was where Bond went off piste and was too proud to go back to basics when it quite patently wasn't working.

I want to see square pegs in square holes and feel a happier atmosphere in and around the Hall and obviously watch the points column increase regularly.

I did see a former player at RH today. Better not say his name as he works for another club at the moment.

So this is a lie then
I suspect a gross exaggeration rather than a Iie to be honest. There is no way someone applying for a job would spill so much specific information to someone that clearly can't keep their gob shut!

Yes, I seem to remember that Tilly was happy to 'blab' confidential information to anyone who would listen when he was playing golf.

And there was someone 'high up' in the club, around the same time, who was happy to discuss the ins and outs of the finances of the club.

I would imagine anyone working for the club, or who has any dealing with the club as an agent or a representative of someone that may employed with the club in future, would be bound by some sort of confidentiality agreement.

Certainly, where I work, I am not allowed to discuss any sensitive information with a third person, and not so long ago, someone found doing exactly that was sacked. I know there are always rumours around football clubs, but anyone leaking the type of information that undercovershrimper posted, would be sacked on the spot and escorted from the premises.

I’m convinced it’s Barrett. The delay is to sort out compensation with Millwall.

Dagenham Kev to be unveiled as manager in the morning!

"YOURE ALL DRUG DEALERS FROM PITSEA" being the half time team talk.
