Trevor FitzpatrickOpen to you.... this'll be an interesting one!
Is this to have also played in the first team cause if not we just had Finlay Burns who played a full 90 minutes for Manchester City with the likes of Sterling etcOpen to you.... this'll be an interesting one!

Absolutely fantastic post! ?In terms of going on to play the most top flight matches, Justin Edinburgh would be the most successful, with 213 games for Spurs in the old First Division/Premier League. He would also be in the picture for the most decorated, having won the FA Cup in 1991 and League Cup in 1999.
In terms of success with Southend, Spencer Prior featured in both our double-promotions (1989/90 and 1990/91 and then 2004/05 and 2005/06) at either end of his career, playing over 200 matches for us in the process, as well as featuring for four different clubs in the top flight (Norwich City, Leciester City, Derby County and Manchester City) in between.
Most international caps by a former Academy player would be Glen Kamara, who has 34 international caps for Finland as well as helping Rangers to the Scottish Premiership title last season.
Someone who may go on to eclipse Edinburgh and Kamara (given he has contacted the Jamaican FA about the potential to play internationally for Jamaica rather than England, where he accrued 25 caps between U16 and U21 level) and with Newcastle United's new owners, is Isaac Hayden. He's already passed a century of top flight appearances for the Magpies. Unless he fancies a swansong with the Shrimpers at the end of his career, leading us from the National League to the Premier League, it's unlikely he'll match Spinners' achievements in terms of promotions and appearances with us.
I would add Mavididi as someone who may go on to eclipse them, too.In terms of going on to play the most top flight matches, Justin Edinburgh would be the most successful, with 213 games for Spurs in the old First Division/Premier League. Yep, good shout. Already played 69 top flight games in Italy and France (all bar one in Ligue 1 for Dijon and Montpellier) and scored 18 goals at that level, as well as commanding a reported £6.8m in transfer fees, which is more than any other former Academy player, I’m fairly certain.I would add Mavididi as someone who may go on to eclipse them, too.
Did Southend have a sell on clause?Yep, good shout. Spud also got 5 (?) promotions in the EFL as a manager. No mean feat. Not a great success following Fry in for us but you can’t knock that record.Peter Taylor , went on to play for England
We would have lost that when he was released by Arsenal but we would be entitled to some of the FIFA solidarity payments. A very small proportion though - maybe 30k.Did Southend have a sell on clause?
And also manage England for one game.Peter Taylor , went on to play for England
And a very good England under 21 manager I recallAnd also manage England for one game.
