Well, for those who never heard, I would have missed it too were it not for my mother. She pulled out this flyer with different tours and stuff on and one of them was of Roots Hall. All it really was was a guy who'd been there taking round a few of us and mining what precious history or information he could.

Some of it was quite menial (e.g. security measures, disabled seats) and he was very evasive with questions but it was quite cool seeing the inside of the stadium.

Like I said though, very poorly advertised.

Do the club really want to be advertising their security measures after the recent spate of burglaries.

How do they know someone in the tour group wasn't casing the joint for a future caper?

Do they have an olympic sized swimming pool, multi-storey car park and basketball court under the pitch?

My mate Ade went on the tour and said it was a bit lame and amateurish but just about worth it. The red seats in the East stand were bought from M*n U*d in the 50's was his best bit of historical info.

He also went to the Gym and knocked Bramble off of his exercise bike with his arm.

No basketball court. What kind of club do you think this is!
