We had a bit of debate on Saturday as to who would have gone in goal had Bentley been sent off/injured on Saturday, so I thought it might be worth a bit of a poll!

I think you need to be a bit of a nutter to want to play in goal, so for that reason I've gone for Deegan.

I dunno why but I thought Ryan Leonard had said before he can play in goal. Not sure if I've made that up or not:smile:

Would have been Leonard following Bolger's departure. Whilst on the subject what does Paul Smith actually do these days?

Dont think Barrett could have done it. Not exactly the most agile player

It's all about positioning for an outfield player in goal. Playing percentages. Remember Dean Windass going in for Bradford against us at Roots Hall for an hour and hardly looking troubled.

It's got to be Jack Payne for me. He would sort out the back 3/4/5 (dependent on tactics) and command his area taking crosses easily.

As others have said, would be Lenny these days - although whether they would have been happy for him to do having recently come back from injury might be another matter.

Will Atkinson. And he would still have been playing centre mid at the same time.
