Is that the best you can do? For a club three divisions above us your "reserves" sure were crap! You just blew your one chance this season of beating a local(ish) team. I'm looking forward to seeing Chelsea spank you 4-1 again this season :D

Nobody is under the illusion that it was your reserve side. But you could infact argue that it was our reserve side as well...

Add to the fact our side has been put together in 2 weeks and have had all the off the pitch **** hanging over their heads as well, then yes it is a decent result for us.

Cup final? Come on fella, there are bigger fish to fry than the 'ammers, let's be honest here.

I'd be more concerned about your reserves being called upon in the Prem, than us dropping out the league if I were you.

What new stadium is that? Is that the Olympic Stadium that for some reason the pornographers think West Ham have a God given right to.

One thing that Southend fans know is that we are a small club, whereas West Ham fans think their club is a big club, relative to Southend yes you are a massive club in comparison. However we don't suffer delusions of grandeur and we aren't a feeder club to our bigger London neighbours. In reality if the Premier League hadn't bottled out in giving West Ham a points deduction for their blatant cheating in the Tevez affair you may have gone into administration a couple of years ago.

Id be a bit gutted if I was a premiership fan and the players fighting to get into the first team couldnt beat a league two team that has only known each other a week.

Still lets hope you dont need to ever call upon any reserves to face Man Utd or Arsenal eh ?

Well we will probably be midtable in League Two, you will no doubt be struggling in the premiership, at best making up the numbers with nothing to ever play for other than to not get beaten by the teams who can actually achieve anything.

As for 1 year deals, this is lower league football, its normal, weve also got players on 2 year deals.

The simple answer to that question is both of us. Difference being is that we can see we are in a period of rebuilding and consolidation where as you seem to think you'll be fine next season. I can't seem anything other than you struggling badly which will make me laugh even more
