Will the new stadium pitch have under soil heating in it? PS if and when we build it?:darkcloud:

simple answer. yes.
complicated answer. i would imagine yes, but maybe no, but probably yes.

I would suggest no....undersoil heating is actually not that effective, and is extremely costly to install in terms of capital cost, and very expensive to run in terms of revenue costs.

It cost £3000 to run it, it was on skysports news, not being funny but it should be put on. We do have undersoil heating its just Ron Martin is a tight ****.

Yes i am sure. I've been told by youth coachs at Southend that we have undersoil heating.

Well I have only been to Roots Hall 600+ times and thats the first I have ever heard about undersoil heating. We have an undersoil sprinkler system but do not have undersoil heating.

We do have it. Ask Any member of the coaching staff they will tell you we do.

Roots Hall doesn't have undersoil heating. Most modern lower league stadia actually rely upon a combination of a fibresand based pitch with excellent drainage properties and transluscent roofing materials to allow penetration of natrural light.

Not sure how you got hold of those costs from Colchester, but undersoil heating was discounted at a very early stage.

Already have abused him to his face, i also had a meeting with him.

We do. Ask Ron Martin.

So we have undersoil heating, but when there was a real risk of a massive sell-out game against Chelsea being frozen off with the consequent loss of revenue and 80k or TV money, Ron couldn't be bothered to use it, he paid out to hire pitch covers instead?

The ground wasnt frozen, it was foggy, when its foggy you cant see the ball, well done brains.
