With our 3 tall centre halves (Sodje, Prior and Edwards) all injured, we are left with no real height at the back. Add Darryls lack of height into the melting pot and we look scarily vulnerable to a route 1 attack.

Fortunately, Blackpool's John Murphy went off with a hamstring strain on Saturday so probably won't play against us. But what about Byfield for Gillingham, Hayes for Barnsley, Akinfenwa for Swansea, Fortune-West for Doncaster and Michael Bridges for Bristol City?

All these pose aerial threats which we will find it very difficult to counter.

Hmmm.

Isn't it ironic that with our small squad the position we have had most cover in is the one we have been left short?

At the end of the day we have six games left and really 2/3 wins would be enough to see us up so fingers crossed we can do it.

Its not ideal but at the end of the day we have got through 38 games so gar so a few more aint going to hurt...

Come on......

On loan at Carlisle.
Thank God for that... I keep hearing his name mentioned as scoring so I knew he was in form.

We should be able to beat Blackpool and Gillingham without either of those defenders. If we cant we dont deserve to go up. Hunt is more mobile than Eagle or Spinner and im sure will do a decent job. The one worry would be set pieces but we have Goater, Benno and Jupp over 6ft.
