With the visit today of Hammell and his girlfriend a thought just came to mind.

Will he think its like this all the time in Southend?

Will he be able to cope with more the 15C and 2 hours of continuous sunlight?

And more importantly will his girlfriend say no way after seeing our local totty on parade?

Any ideas on how we can convince him to join us?

If he, or she for that matter, feels a little out of place darn ere in sunny Sarfend i'm sure we could all club together and get him a set of furry dice for his motor and perhaps a pair of white stilletoes for 'she who must be obeyed'

Know this is just a lighthearted post but if you go to Aberdeen this time of the year, it actually only gets dark for about 90mins.  Yeah OK, you get the opposite in December but just wanted to point that out.

The Mrs would have clobbered me if she stumbled across this post & I hadn't defended her town/country!
