I guess this is intended to be humorous but I'm not sure that it being dismissed having paid the entire amount due, plus interest, plus legal council fee's is a "SUFC Win" - it's a better outcome than being "wound-up" yes, but it's a worse outcome than just paying the bill when it becomes due

More HMRC wins this year than wins by the team this season! Can we play HMRC every week?

This is a monthly thing. Using HMRC as a payday lender will ultimately bite us in the arse one day...

Hopefully the utterly inept professional football bodies of this country will one day actually have rules and regulations where clubs like ours stop taking the ****.
In Italy for example they have a 3 strikes rule, 3 trips to court for unpaid debts and regardless of whether you pay them off they start deducting points or as seen in the case of Parma a few years ago just automatically relegate the club.
Imagine if Ron had to deal with something like that, Fossetts Farm would look wonderful in the Essex Senior League.

Ron will have BT Sport's appearance money next week. Suspect the VAT bill may be more though !

Yet again the club is in a precarious position. Our slippery chairman cannot run an organisation in a satisfactory way.I really think he doesn't mind an adverse outcome, as Roots Hall is part
of his bounty !! The football club have next to no assets, and don't own the ground. 2020 could see the demise of SUFC.

The thing is, will this put any decent future players you wish to sign, off coming to the club. Maybe this is part of the reason why players are looking unhappy and not performing, are they being paid on time?

Agree with every word of this. If an ordinary working person managed their tax liabilities in this way they'd receive short shrift. Absolutely disgraceful.
