Great viewing on Sky Sports 1 if you're able to tune in.

Beaumont - 102 from 119 not out
Taylor - 93 from 75 not out

Great fun!

Fantastic stuff. I was reading earlier in the week that England would need to be wary of the SA attack but that was one hell of a score. The women's game has definitely come a long way the last few years.

Finally a win over Australia in the World Cup!..the first time in 24 years!... Fantastic last few overs, to secure the victory by just 3 runs.

Oooh while we are on the subject Ashleigh Gardner who plays for the Aussie's is a relative of mine!

Good to see us already through to the semi finals!... i'm guessing we will have to wait until the weekend to grasp an idea of who we have to face next.

Edit: So it's England V South Africa on Tuesday.

Well done Ladies, and what a match, coming down to the last 2 balls. It's going to be a cracker of an atmosphere for them to experience at a sell out Lords on Sunday.

Great stuff. I was listening on the train home last night and the array of fist pumps/head in hands moments got me a few odd glances from my fellow passengers.

Now to do the business in the big one on Sunday!

If anyone gets the chance to catch the highlights from today's semi-final, there's a remarkable innings by India's Harman Kaur.

Really enjoyed watching that Final with it's twists and turns.
Looked a bit grim for England for a while before a great 6 wicket bowling performance by Anya Shrubsole.

The standard is so ****. I reckon most decent Saturday teams could beat them

Sarah Taylor was good enough to play a 2 day match with the Northern Districts men's team in New Zealand, so that seems unlikely. I guess she could be an anamoly but the rest of the team seemed to be up to her standard.
