Anyone doing one of these, or anyone found one that is actually legit?

I keep getting lots of e-mails saying earn this, earn that, per hour working at home doing data entry etc, I've ignored, but part of me is curious to find out if they are real!..

They can't all be scams surely?

They may not be, but I suspect they are over glam'd so the earnings are not as good as claimed. The rest probably require you to pay some money to get the info you "apparently need".

I would stick to your part time Blue Belle impressionist career....

Although some of the home work schemes may not be scams or cons, they are notoriously labour intensive, and the financial returns work out at less than the minimum wage. I am not sure how the data entry ones work or pay, but would wager they are on similar lines.

You could try and follow Cricko's career as a male escort, but in 18 years in the job hea has earnt the square root of bugger all.;) :D

I thought, without reading the thread.. lee was offering his body for services..

I saw an advert in the Echo that said "Willy for Hire". I thought that might be Lee offering personal services but it was , in fact, Willy Thorne giving snooker lessons.

My wife joined one of the 'Mystery shopping' sites. Basically, you join up and get local assignments offered in your area, but you don't HAVE to take on the task. It's really just pocket money she earns, but it's quite fun and there's a degree of studying to do on the matter.

For example, she had one about Instant Lottery tickets. The task was to visit a shop and check that the scratch cards were in the right holders (it's all down to marketing). She had to take a small online test before she was assigned the task, but as she has a photographic memory it was easy. The off to the shop to make some notes, submit the results of the survey and collected £10.. Like I say , pocket money, but pays for a Pizza!!!
