The Echo is reporting that all the funding needed has now been secured and work will start in the summer.

On that subject, there were about 8 bods in fluorescent jackets all standing around the control box by the average speed camera on the A127 just after Falmers yesterday. No wonder the country's going to the dogs if it takes 8 of them to work out how the flipping things work.

Yes mate. I'm sure Ron mentioned it in one of his blogs.

There won't be many available, but it looks like the option will be made available to those that can afford such a luxury...

First plans for this site were drawn up in 1985....there have been many, many false dawns! Originally it was a case of sell Roots Hall and use the money to build a new stadium - nice and simple. The difference this time, is that Mr Martin has managed to get the Council to agree to MUCH more than just a stadium, so there is mega money to be made elsewhere and hence a bigger incentive to push on when things get tough.
The Stadium is no more than a carrot.
