World Championship Darts 2020

The Taylor v MvG debate is always a good one, they are both elite obviously, but I don't remember any World Championships during Taylor's dominant era where he faced people playing to the standard of Cullen and Chisnall did against MvG in this one. The depth is so much stronger now.

Though I agree, Taylor changed the way darts was played, he was totally dedicated to practice off the TV.
He pathed away for others to follow, especially when it came to TV prizes
Personally feel the " newbies " owe Taylor a huge gratitude of thanks, as with out him, we would be like the BDO, a tournament for players who at times are only as good as an average pub player

Durrant has proven you can make the step up, and Bunting in this WC but hasn't really taking the PDC by the scruff of the neck as his talent should have

Players like John, Lowe, Eric Bristow, Jocky Wilson, Phil Taylor,MVG, Gerwyn Price all brilliant players and its a shame they couldnot have played together in their prime, but the new crop look very exciting for the sport

Dennis Priestley was a more than useful player
