Seriously , you just knew even before the draw was made ,that if any England team got this far in the tournament they would draw either Germany or Brazil, im just surprised it wasnt in the qtr final thats all .

Very sad:hilarious:
Saw the last 10 minutes, the German commentator, expected 3 minutes injury time, over the moon with 6,he also did not know where they come from..but in the end,was it nearly 8.
According to the Ger,Com..the Germans were unlucky "again"...YEH
The crowd was over 60,000?Or over 50,000.??
So now for Brazil:smile:

Brazil vs England U17 Semi Final is live on BBC web now. England leading 2-1 if you have the time to look in. Good game.

Also on the red button on TV.

4th final this summer for the young Lions.

Normally it should be a case of the youth looking up to the seniors for inspiration, but in this case, I think our seniors should be looking at our youth. They might learn something.

Wow!! Another terrific result, goes to show the class of the lads in this squad.

One more game to go, can they do it?

Agree, frankly it puts the seniors to shame. Proves that progressive attacking football can get the right results time and time again. none of the dire, sideways and backwards passing all done at a snails pace we see all too often with the senior side.

We've had some astonishing successes with various Under nn England teams. The thing that worries me is that a lot of our really talented youngsters are going to find it really difficult to break into the Premiership teams because of the foreign imports. Without their development taking them to higher/highest levels we will never see the full England national side benefit from all of the good work the juniors are doing.

How was Mali's goal not given!?!?

Shame, as they were deservedly getting back into the match.

Thought the 2nd half was going to be like watching the senior team(under Hodgson &Southgate),1st half ok,but then the 2nd half ,the other team"sussed" us out and are far better.
But we were better in the 2nd half, than we were in the 1st.
Had the game in control.
At 2-1,the Brazilians started to press, the German commmemtator said"England are still leaving 2 up front, thats different and a good idea:England might break away and score a third"...Few minutes later,we did.
These young England teams-players have been praised, most of the time here,in Germany......unlike our senior team under (Hodgson & GS),who are mostly "slagged off"
