Yid Army!

shame about the late goal, we could have done with another trip to Spurs

Er we wouldn't have had the same number as Blackpool so it's not garaunteed we would have been pulled out at the same time.

Anyway who cares we lost its not the same as when we drew Chelsea and blew it!

Could be a good title for a book that one

SOUTHEND UNITED AND THE PROPHETS OF DOOM

It's a good effort but not quite as catchy as:

SOUTHEND UNITED AND THOSE ANNOYING ****S WHO GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO AVOID DISCUSSION AFTER A WIN, YET SEEM TO TURN UP ON MESSAGE BOARDS WITH OVER-THE-TOP, POINTLESS KNEE-JERK REACTIONS ONLY WHEN THEIR TEAM HAS LOST A MATCH, THE TEAM'S GOALKEEPER HAS MADE A MISTAKE, OR THE OPPOSITION HAVEN'T BEEN DRAMATICALLY DISPATCHED WITH A FULL-ON 90 MINUTE PURPLE-PATCH OF TOTAL FOOTBALL PLAYED AT A RELENTLESS PACE WITH FAULTLESS SKILLS, NON-STOP PASSION AND COMMITMENT, AND A NEVER BEFORE SEEN DIE-HARD ATTITUDE MORE BEFITTING THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE.

That's a rather large book cover G ;)

would have gone to it obviously but for a third time wouldn't have been the most interesting game. would have loved an away game like most at arsenal.

Good glad we didn't go through the curse of the cup notice how we were ****e after our fantastic cup runs last season. And with a victory over Port Vale and 3rd in the league I would pick that over a poncey Cup game against those yid ****ers :D

Nail Head Hit

So pleased we lost against Blackpool if that's the draw....awful ground to get away from (both times), hateful fans (second time), no away pubs anywhere near the ground and besides, been there done that.

Would have been a nice little earner for sure and for clubs like Southend a draw like that is a godsend. Never mind, Arsenal or Chelsea away in the FA Cup will have to do instead.
