The theory is you need to make a double album of your favourite songs, 13 on each CD. The catch is you can only pick one song per letter to make an A-Z.

So how would your A-Z pan out? It helps having iTunes or suchlike open in song order in front of you! If there's enough responses to this I might use the results to compile a Top 20 all time SZ favourites list!

This is how mine worked out (and it's amazing how many great songs you have to leave out!!). I might have to make this up as a couple of CDs for the car.

Alive - Pearl Jam
(The) Box - Orbital
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Davidian - Machinehead
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Fade to Black - Metallica
Gimmee Shelter - Rolling Stones
Hysteria - Muse (Man, there's a lot of good songs beginning with H!)
In My World - Anthrax
Jesus Christ Pose - Soundgarden
Knights of Cydonia - Muse
Lucid Dreams - Franz Ferdinand
Meltdown - Orbital
New Born - Muse
Omen - The Prodigy
PHD - The Crystal Method
Quest for Fire - Iron Maiden (three Q's on my iTunes!!!)
Red Mosquito - Pearl Jam
Sympathy for the Devil - Rolling Stones
(The) Tempest - Pendulum
(The) Unforgiven - Metallica
Violent Mood Swings - Stabbing Westward
We're in this Together - Nine Inch Nails
X
You Can't Bring Me Down - Suicidal Tendencies
Zombie Eaters - Faith No More

Ok, that gets harder as it goes along, I didn't even have an X!

Oh dear, i'll get me thinking cap

Altering The Future - Death
Battery - Metallica
Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
Dittohead - Slayer
Evil Dead - Death
Floyd The Barber - Nirvana

No Jelly Bean Benitez???

What about songs that begin with 'The'? Does 'The Queen Is Dead' by The Smiths count as a 'T' or a 'Q'.

As you can probably tell, I'm struggling with 'Q' here.

Well Yorkie got away with (Sitting on) The Dock of the Bay as D, not S, so I'm guessing the rules are elastic.
