Breaking News Youth team game off as coaches not paid

Not sure how that makes more of a statement, or will get more attention. If anything it will make us look bad and make people less sympathetic towards us, invading the pitch of a club who have nothing to do with it.

I’m not sure what attention any pitch invasion will get to be honest. Perhaps a brief mention in the national press and an article in the Echo. What does that really achieve? Maybe a half-arsed statement from Ron saying it will all be fine followed by a points deduction/fine and not much else.

Although I suppose a pitch invasion is at least more likely to achieve something than completely pointless ‘we want Martin out’ chants that get 0 media coverage. He doesn’t hear them anyway because he isn’t attending so no idea why people persist on trying to start them.
Assuming you are pro-protest, what do you suggest we do?

Yeah good idea let’s just sit back do nothing and watch the club fall away at the hands of one man, and one man only.

Something drastic needs to be done - pitch invasions were performed last season (albeit by a small, too small, minority) and no points deductions were given.
You don't get points deductions for the first pitch invasion.

They'll have given us a warning and a second incident within a period of time will likely be met with a fine or a points deduction. That does not help the team, it hurts it.

Although we did score when we did it against Chesterfield....If we need a goal it might be worth it...

We lost 4-0 to Chesterfield. Think they may have scored during the protest though I was safely in the Railway by then (along with many others 😜)

Why don't we all just climb up on the road stanchons over the M25 with our get ron out flags, and glue our arses to the road surface.
That would get alot of media attention.

Or has that been done before.

Only if we can claim that RM is responsible for climate change

With the amount of hot air and bull**** that comes out of his mouth there maybe some truth in that..........

Where’s the magical bridging finance? And who at the club aside from Ron will benefit from ff?

Somethings just nit adding up in all the silence

Protest or not, club or not, the only person who wins in all of this is Ron. Save your breath what happens is going to happen either good or bad and there is not a damned thing any if us can do to change it.

It’s better to have tried and failed,
Than to have never tried at all,
You can then rest easy,
Knowing you have given your all.

No, we should not wait to see what happens.
We should take the fight to his door.

Ron can not and will not scrub away OUR club from us.
He is just a custodian of OUR club, nothing more.

ITS OUR CLUB. !!!!!!!

I actually respect the youth team for taking a stand. Weird how some who appear to be left wing are so silent on this capitalism on steroids model
I have dissected the works of Marx over many years and basically if the Gundrisse is correct tomorrow we will beat Altincham 2-1, in the classic dialectical fashion of 1-0 down, 2-1 up.

The way to hurt Ron was to boycott and encourage companies associated with Ron's companies to do the same. The only way to hurt him was to shutdown his income. Should of been done years ago instead of this slow prolonged death.

I hope there's some strong clauses in the recent loans to the club involving taking control of shares as otherwise the money just helps the prolonging of Ron.
