Southend United’s Under-18 side set up a dream FA Youth Cup Fifth Round clash at Anfield with a superb second-half comeback to record a 3-1 victory against Derby County.

Rob Craven's Match Report can be found here.

That is a superb result by the yoots. Derby County have a very sizeable and well-funded academy, so for the youths to go up there and beat them 3-1 on their own patch has to be one of the best results I can remember from our youth team. Massive credit to Ricky Duncan and the team - particularly, as well, when you see the likes of Kane Ferdinand and Harry Crawford breaking through into the first team... it shows you that Ricky is really getting things right.

Awesome stuff.

PS we have a youth-team player called Dominic Iorfa?! That is hilarious! The Lion of Lagos has returned!

Think we might be chucked out for playing a ringer..... Dominic Iorfa must be at least 40 now!

Presume that was Big Bad Dom's son.

What a night!!! best game of football Iv seen this year ... effort, pride and belief
