Just a little moan. Arrived back in France Saturday morning and as I was still too tired to work today I decided to re-live the wonderful experience and atmosphere of Tuesday night at Fratton Park, by watching the whole game. Very disappointed that there was no sound which, of course, kills the atmosphere stone dead. I suppose there was nothing that could be done about it as it was Portsmouth who supplied the video but for me, it really reduces the joy of watching it. I also had problems with freezing and blurring towards the end of the first-half.........but that could be my computer in need of re-booting.

I know it' a bit old hat now but I've just seen the whole second-half. A few remarks to make, mainly about Corr. Until you see a whole match like that you don't appreciate how much misery BBBC gets, with holding, shoving........and that elbow. It was in full view of the ref and looked blatent and deliberate (which Woodrow's didn't). The referee was almost aggressively dismissive about his protests and if it had been at the other end I reckon it would have been a red card and a penalty. It was also interesting to see the foul their blond-haired player comitted on Straker, I think, for which we got a free-kick just outside their penalty area. Sure that their defender had his hands on his head because he believed that the referee was going to produce a red instead of the yellow. Didn't see from the other end the great work Corr did, before supplying Atkinson with a sublime pass for his goal. In the end justice appears to have been done. I'm not saying that Woodrow's dismissal was incorrect but if he deserved to go so, certainly, did their player.
