Did that for MTBD, took a bloody hour and half all told! As boy child is out at a party tonight, he's going to need a bit of kip after his paper round in the morning before petitioning with me, car seemed easiest and quickest. Might turf the old man out of bed at half 11 to run us down there, we'll see. Thanks for the offer Paul - got any idea how much a cab is from Benfleet to Southend?!!!

MK is shamefully accusing the ever angelic Mr Crickson of editing his original post....:D

Anyway, I hope all goes well with the party/bbq/raffle etc. Alot of effort has gone in from all and nodoubt will continue throughout the day with John and co liberating money from people for raffle tickets.

Must be going blind, where's this "edit"? Have had two big glasses of wine and just informed said other half can't pick him up from station (he wasn't happy, but wasn't due back till gone 9 so tough whatsits!) but I think I can still read ok!
