Thought I would start this one early, as there is not much else to talk about at the moment!
What is your starting XI?
What will the score be?
Will the Blue Monday deal, boost the attendance?
Will Corr & Sturrock be fit?
Is this Timlin's last game before going back to Swindon?
Here are the stats on The Alex..

So as you can see, Crewe are unbeaten in 9 FL2 games. They have not lost on the road since their first away game at Cheltenham (Aug 14th) where they went down 3-2. This was also their last defeat full stop in FL2. So in effect they have not tasted a league defeat in over 2 months!
They have of course had 5 draws in a row, and in total 7 of the last 8 have ended all square! So Crewe are without doubt the draw specialists.
They have not won on their travels this season. But have only lost 1 (Cheltenham as detailed above) Surprise, surprise they have drawn all 4 away games since. Three of them 1-1 and of course the crazy 5-5 at Chesterfield!
Crewe are also the top scorers in FL2 with 25 goals rattled in already, including a 7-0 win over Barnet and the 5-5 draw at Chesterfield!
So it's probably fair to say that Crewe fans have got their monies worth so far this season!
Smiffy's prediction: A very tough game ahead and our defence will have their work cut out, keeping the free scoring Alex at bay. But, if we can remain tight and cut off their supply line. Then our attacking third will enjoy taking advantage of a leaky Crewe backline. So, all that said, surprise, surprise I predict a 1-1 draw!
Whatever happens, I think it could be an entertaining encounter.
