Transfer embargo lifted and England win a game of cricket....? What sort of a thing is happening here?

Tremendous news for our promotion prospects. Perhaps Ron has now seen what PB is capable of and has decided to allow him a bit more money? :winking:

Or we have made a bit of money from the FA Cup....

Or maybe it's neither, and RM has finally sorted out the only issue that was keeping us under an embargo, i.e. that his company's accounts weren't signed off, and by extension nor were SUFCs.

Assuming it is true maybe PB can now get a few players in to cover positions with specialists rather than people who can do a job.

I don't think it will be Jake Hyde as suggested earlier as he is being looked at by championship clubs.

i personally wouldn't change allot , i would bring in a striker but would still get rid of Reid ... just cause we might have a bit of money now , doesn't mean we have to spend it we need to save it for the close season so we can pay the players . and i remember when Sturrock got a bit of money to spend in January and signed players like Flood and never played .

as they say , too many chefs spoil the broth .

I think its 'too many COOKS spoil the broth' Hope that's not an intentional mistake on your part to deflect from the fact we are signing Steve Cook.

So he's a striker from the Premier League. Suarez, Sturridge, Van Persie or even maybe Crouch???
