Best goalie

Only ever saw Daryl and Dan in a Blues shirt out of that list, I'd go for Dan over Daryl purely as the better all-round goalkeeper and I think Dan will go on to play at the highest level.

Royce is the best I've seen. Royce was streets ahead of Bentley and that's no slight on Dan. Royce was also several years older. Maybe in time Bentley could have surpassed Roycie had he stayed longer but for me there's only one option here.

Also worth noting that Bentley looked good in League Two for us - Royce looked brilliant in the top half of what is now the Championship.

Watching Southend for 50 years , by far the best goalkeeper in that time is Trevor Roberts , I know that because of there ages nearly three quarters of supporters will vote else where .

Yep what I said on the other thread....great keeper....and now Bentleys coach...

If you're going to include a loan player, you must include Adam Federici.

Definately the most proven keeper we have had at Southend in recent years.

For our own goalies, Flahavan and Sampson were probably the best proven goalkeepers, and Bentley, whilst really good still has a lot to learn and is yet to reach his potential and that was never going to be with us!
