Ronaldo is 36....I think that's all that is necessary to say about age.Great signing but he can't do it alone. We need another frontman but I'm sure PB is working on this. No doubt someone will moan cos he's over 30, but hey. Welcome Rhys!!
Why on earth would you move from the lovely Somerset countryside to Essex
Is this the most active Sounthend have been in the transfer market ahead of the new season. Usually we only start get the hint of signings half way through pre-season.
We've got it all going on early doors which should hopefully mean the new signings gel into the squad quite quickly.
Well done to everyone at the club for being proactive rather than reactive. Hopefully they have a keeper lined up for when Oxley goes.
He's also not a proven goal scorer at this level...Ronaldo is 36....I think that's all that is necessary to say about age.
I heard he goes like ryhs lightning. The chicks'll cream.Rhys is the word.
Must have the BMW for a full house though
I hear he prefers jellied eels to scrumpy. Why on earth would you move from the lovely Somerset countryside to Essex
I think you're right, I do think number 4 is the biggest one. Ron cannot afford for us to be a non league side long term as fossets is still pie in the sky.Yup, really is refreshing and (on paper) really good signings for us at the moment too, despite the nay-sayers who are never happy.
Wonder how much of this is down to;
1) Stans involvement
2) The CEO
3) Phil pushing for them
4) Ron getting a wake up call
I would guess, bit of each...
Well....Michael Kightly was 31 when he signed for us....but perhaps his decline was not age related!Ronaldo is 36....I think that's all that is necessary to say about age.

We're non-league, I'd settle for a Ford Mondeo.
Akinola scored the same amount of goals for barnet in the national league ?We need at least another 2 proven strikers at this level too
Good signing but we must play to his strengths and I worry our style won't suit him. Hope I'm proved wrong as he could do very well if used correctly
