However, spare a though for Brechin City, now of the Scottish Highland League. Having been promoted to the Championship via the play-offs in 2016/17, they were relegated with 4 points the following season, went straight through League 1 and were given a stay of execution in 2019/20 when the season was voided due to Covid, then relegated after finishing bottom of League 2 last season and losing the pyramid play-off to Kelty Hearts. Their win percentage was only a little above half of ours in the past three-and-a-half seasons, and their loss percentage almost 15% higher.
