The reports I'm getting from those who know a bit more than we (the public) the russian army are constantly drunk.... I guess thats why we're seeing such horrors.
Truck came from RF side and let through x-ray type scanner. Very peculiar and an interesting thread on twitter by @motytchakThey're taking the war to russia, good for them..... The russian army are a complete mess.....
What is perhaps more significant is that countries like China and India abstained. There has been some talk to the effect that if the war continues to drag on (highly likely I'd've thought) then China might actually start voting against Russia. That would certainly set the cat among the pigeons. We can only hope I suppose.United Nations General Assembly Eleventh Emergency Special Session

The UN General Assembly on Wednesday adopted a resolution entitled "Territorial integrity of Ukraine: defending the principles of the Charter of the United Nations," which condemns Russian pseudo-referendums held in occupied Ukrainian territories.
Such a shame that Iran has involved themselves by supplying hundreds of kamikaze drone bomb/missile, that are now raining down on Ukraine's residential areas. It violates UN sanctions, so Iran will be punished in some way. Ukraine are now asking for more help from the west to take down these drones before they strike their cities.
Some interesting voting shown.
Afghan vote for motion!
And abstaining are several countries that recieve lots of western, UK aid etc such as India, Pakistan, Uganda.
And countries that ought to value freedom like South Africa, Vietnam.
Any thoughts on Russia evacuating some Russian border towns - prelude to chem/nuke attack? It's not a 100% indication but it would be a fair reflection if you started seeing clean shaven russian units.
That doesn't just mean Nukes but also Chemicals/biological weapons used.
The West do believe that the above two are a possibility.
You have to separate Chemical/Biological Warfare from Nuclear, Nuclear is end game.
The" official" line I believe is that they're expecting an attack from Ukranian troops.Rather doubt if Russia would be daft enough to use nuclear or chemical weapons in Ukraine but who knows?Any thoughts on Russia evacuating some Russian border towns - prelude to chem/nuke attack?

I'd heard about the first part of your post not the second. As I said I'd be suprised if Russia tries anything nuclear or chemicals related but who knows?I think that's Kherson in the Russia occupied part of Ukraine. I thought I'd read they're also evacuating some towns actually in Russia - Belograd or something - which seemed odd in that I don't think anyone is expecting Ukrainian troops to cross the Russian/Ukraine border. But depending on what way the wind blows they could be in danger of something in the air.
While I agree with you if we're talking about mainland Russia I'm not so sanguine when it comes to what Rusia calls the "occupied territories" and Ukraine rightly IMO sees as its former territories.Ukraine troops won't push into russia, I can assure you of that, it would start WWIII and the West have made it very clear that they won't support it.
