I think Nicolau could have done with participating in some part of Tuesday's match, instead he's been dropped in at the deep end without any first-team match practice
 
struggled in the 1st half but was one of the better players in the second half

gower played pretty well when he came on.. looked like he was refreshed from a rest
Completely agree.

Just an extra sharpness to his game and seemed considerably more confident. The break's hopefully done him the world of good.

I'm not sure we'll get away with 4 central midfielders against Yeovil when none of them can beat a man**.

**Except, of course, Guttridge's beautiful Cruyff turn in between two men that he very nearly got on the end of to be one-on-one.

If Gower were to start against Yeovil would he be fit enough to last the enitre match?
