2017 General Election thread

Reckon George Osborne is enjoying his new job? From today's Evening Standard...

After careful consideration, I have decided to vote Labour at the GE. They are the lesser of the evils as far as I am concerned. I am not opposed to socialism as a concept, but it can only be successful in very specific demographic circumstances, and which are becoming ever more unlikely.

So Corbyn now taking part in the televised debate tonight. May has confirmed she won't.

Yes, I know incumbents always have so much more to lose in these sort of shows, but this still doesn't look good.

Ha ha - Chicken**** May-hem is running scared. Seriously how can anyone vote for that vile woman?

May has seriously ****ed up this election. You could have put a pig in a blue rosette and it would have won last month.

:hilarious:

Meanwhile, Barry Gardiner's out and about collecting Tory scalps.

Well.

Well.

there is a clip of Boris on Sky News with Adam Boulton and Andrew Gwynne and Boris is spinning around and pointing and pushing in all directions - totally manic - I was genuinely concerned for his wellbeing

Corbyn's played her here, he's probably known for weeks he'd be showing up but by announcing it at the last minute it means May had no time to prepare for a 7 way debate, so unless she wanted to risk embarrassing herself on TV she couldn't show up in response.
