Remember the old boy walking round the track shouting "Programme and Handbook" ?

later changed it to "Programme and lottery tickets" but it didn't have the same ring to it...

Also the people with the red trays selling chocolate and crisps ?

Bloody hell! I think the old boys name, the one who used to wear the blue and white knitted hat in the winter, if it's the same one you are thinking of, was Horace Harris. Truly!

The trays of chocolate, what a memory. The North Bank had the ice cream van at the top of it by the West stand, or was it a hut, that used to sell boiled burgers, and ice cream with a piece of fudge in it. Happy Days!
