Like you I got excited by an early highlights thread only to feel conned and disappointed by the content. The Mods need reminding how much power and influence they have over our wonderful city. There was no railing as such. Just normal terracing barriers to lean on. That's why fans spilled on to the perimeter. Strange setup really.

It was always going to happen if we scored up that end, as per Smiffys comment above it was pretty strange to have no perimeter fence behind the goal. The stewards were excellent just ushered people back politely.

Must be a reason why it's like that.

Fylde had removed a low advertising hoarding/barrier from both goal ends for our game. A Gateshead player was concussed Thursday night after crashing through it.
I suspect Harry Taylor would have crashed into it after his cross to Danny Waldron.

It's the upper body strength that's missing.
That core needs working on so's he has the power to pivot and hit a ball harder.
Hopefully, pre-season will sort.
