So here we go again - no doubt another season of joy and fustration all mixed together.

Loved Sheffield United last year (except the weather) and Shrewsbury and Barnsley - quite northern those games. Whilst Rochdale and Blackpool were not good memories.

I only managed to get to 1 new ground last year ........ so I need to put more effort into planning and crossing off more grounds from my list. Coventry is one I shall try to get to.

What away games are people looking forward to?

Well I was looking forward to Bolton (local and new ground) and Sheffield United again, but both clash, one with a work trip to Canada and another with a wedding. A bit annoying really! Fleetwood is a potential new ground for me, and the Tuesday night Coventry match could be fun/interesting.

Bolton & Charlton are my only new grounds this year. Looking forward to Sheffield & Coventry again, bit of a pain those are both midweek

Yes - I am going to try to get to Charlton as I have yet to visit for some reason.

And M.K. Dons as well - see what their new ground is like and tick that one off the list.

Of the new ones entering the league, my picks are Charlton & Wimbledon, of the regulars, I always look forward to Gillingham, and Millwall is a good atmosphere also.

Finally going to get to Sheffield this year, being a mid week makes it much easier for us. Also planning on Shrewsbury so that's two new grounds. Been to Charlton many a time, but looking forward to it nonetheless, will seem odd not sitting in the home end!

Disappointing trips last season were Rochdale, Scunthorpe, & Wigan. All poor performances but beer helped!
Looking forward to new grounds Bolton & Coventry Ricoh.

Milton Keynes

I will be there mate, went a couple of times last season. [barna]My friend is a season ticket holder and when his dad can't go he gives me the ticket. I get my football fix because I can never get to enough Southend games.[/barna]

This season is much better for me with Oxford, Northampton and Bristol Rovers coming up. Those are local to me also with Swindon and Milton Keynes. Only problem is I have done all those grounds before going to try and get some new ones in. I will probably try and get to Charlton away and maybe a northern one too.

I suppose that the pick of the Northern teams is either Bradford, Bolton or Sheffield United because of the size of the crowds - however, I quite like the Rochdale ground ............whereas I find the Scunthorpe ground to be very dull.

Looking forward to new grounds Bolton & Coventry Ricoh.

The Ricoh was a new one for us last season, terrific ground with a casino underneath that welcomes away fans for drinks and food!

Bolton is a definite this season , and im sure its our first visit , so I expect to see 1200+ shrimpers make the journey.

Charlton is on the list. Last time I was there was in about 1993 I think shortly after their return to the valley. We lost 4-3 having been 3-0 down to a last minute Alan pardew winner!

Probably do Bristol rovers, Northampton, Oxford Coventry. Shame about Sheffield utd being a week night.

Really looking forward to this season. First season card for a few years (if it arrives) and my shifts have changed now meaning every Saturday off.

Port Vale, Sheffield & Bolton to start with. Will have to discard Port Vale if it comes to it, may have family plans that day..................:nope:
