No Captains piece in the programme this week? Unless I missed it.

Is he done under Brown?

How many more threads is there going to be on this...:nope:

The team are winning. Adam is not in the team and it would be foolish to change during the unbeaten run.
Surely even AB must understand this? Is football. Is about winning.

You were happy to see Sokolik on the bench and then on the pitch rather than Adam were you?

Yes. We won 3-1. I do not care which Shrimpers wear the shirt but care about the team winning and extending the unbeaten run.

Adam deserves better...an announcement of his retirement at the very least as it appears his playing time is up.

I quite often see Adam Barrett at the school gates whenever I do the school run. Presumably his children attend the same school as mine. I might be cheeky and ask the question.

The chaps a legend....but he is a West Ham fan that has played for us, Orient and Colchester.

He's from the area. He went to Belfairs. He watched Southend as a kid and as a youth. He's always said that SUFC is and always will be his number one football club. And he would like to be more involved with the club when he retires from playing.

I agree and I hope he does continue at our club. But a lot of my friends and my old teacher went to belfairs with him....he wore a claret and blue shirt to my training sessions
