Best wishes to Col U

To be fair I have always liked those little shopping lanes in Colchester. When I owned the Albany club spieler in Queens Road, Southend, I used to travel up to get my kalooki, Rummy and Poker playing cards and chips, etc, from the Board Games Shop, Colchester. But.....I used to wear a bobble hat with SUFC or Southend United on the front, or back in the late 80s my Southend United football shirt, just to wind a few up.

whenever we went to Colchester Zoo when the kids were little I taught them to boo at the first Colchester road sign they saw.

in a similar vein they still always shout MARTIN OUT out of the window when we go past ratty towers.

Chips off the old block
Haha - I drove past his house the other night and wound the window down and shouted out. Made me feel good

Myself and a fellow Shrimper had to go north of the county today, so took some time to wish our neighbours up the road some good luck.

Childish? Sure. Necessary? Absolutely

I call bull****. That photo wasn't taken today. It's obvious from the number of cars in the car park that it's a match day (during game time).

When ever I drive past (I have family in Dovercort) Col U stadium I look at them and think why can’t we have a decent stadium
