I heard a rumour on Saturday, not sure of the source TBH, that Bolger wasn't particularly liked by the rest of the squad, and also that he took out McLaughlin with a two-footed tackle in training, and it was decided to get rid of him after that...

We heard the same rumour
Might be an Irish thing, because we heard Deegan goes around growling and tackling his colleagues in the same way

Echo news article , Phil says knocked back 4 loan requests surrounding Hurst, Weston, Worrall and Mc Laughlin, but that he is in touch with 3 Premiership clubs about central defender.
Please let Weston and Hurst go for a start

In the Echo. Says Phil has been chasing a trio of Premiership replacements. Waiting to hear back.

Thanks for the info ............. but it makes me laff when players are described as "premiership" when they have little or no league experience. Who was that chap from Bolton we had who turned out to be less use than a donkey on Margate beach. Sampson I think.

Both Bolger and McLaughlin are Irish though, wouldn't it be more likely to happen against a non-countryman?

History and experience tell me that Irishmen fighting one another is a fairly common practice.

LOL Very true. Normally travellers bare fist fighting
From memory,we were told the reason Hurst was out for 6weeks before xmas, was because of a tackle in training from Deegan
Has fire in his belly that man

History tells us that men fighting against men whatever their nationality is far too common. However peace amongst men is thankfully even more common.

I can't believe that one rash tackle in training is the cause for shipping out a player.
