Bradford fans match report

Excuse me while my sides split...

How Bradford deserved anything from the game I will never know. It was fairly matched up to sending off maybe except we are already one nil up and whilst we hadnt attacked much Bradford had no final ball despite meaningless possesion in the centre...

Second half Bradford restricted to nothing but long shots and weak grass cutters straight at Darryl. Nothing got past Maher in the middle. Windass given a defensive lesson by Eagle and Barrett and generally one of most comfortable wins I have had pleasure to witness. So dangerous were Bradford tha Flav made his first serious save with 5 to go....Woooo

How we looked average when he passed ball around with ease all 2nd half I will never know and the fact that Freddy has 3 or 4 chances missed really saved Bradford from a bigger thrashing.

Bradford fan was clearly drunk or at a different game IMHO.

Everybody missed chances in that game mate! The fact that our keeper did not make a save all game and you only scored two goals should tell you that most of your shots were going off target...as were ours.

Passing the ball around with ease can be translated to completing three or four passes really cant it? I dont know whether its just long ball all the time in league 2 but in league 1 i think just about every team passes the ball like you did last night...hence why i used the word average.

So your win was sooo comfortable that everytime we played a through ball your defense seemed to be split wide open because every defender you had was marking Dean Windass?

We had some decent spells of pressure in the first thirty minutes and we made more attacking play even when we had a man sent off.

We failed at the final hurdle not placing our shots or taking our chances so in the end we were also very average. You took your chances and looked troublesome going forward.

Now you won, fair play to you.

Sorry, but I disagree. True you got a few through balls through but to say that every one got through is just silly, and if everyone was marking Windass then Eagle and Barrett wouldn't have been able to block some of the attempts so effectively.

At no time in the game was there constant attacking pressure from either side and the second half was pretty much even attacking wise - you had more shots, that was all.

Maybe you should look at the 606 board for a fairer assement on the game from a few of your fans...

Dont seem to think we were as bad as you did.

Dont get me wrong i definitely dont think you were a bad side. You looked a league 1 side.

Agree with DTS here. Don't see how Bradford can say it was an even match. You didnt get anywhere near our goal apart from 30 yards shots that rolled into Flahavans gloves. Wayne Gray had your defence all over the place. It was easy for us IMO.
