Britt Assombalonga

Saw him play 60 mins for Middlesbrough vs Wigan on Tuesday night. He was subbed after a pretty quiet performance. Middlesbrough weren't great and hopefully Britt will start to find some form after an injury-interrupted season. I worry he's lost some of his pace and confidence after some terrible injuries.

Britt has been released by Middlesbrough on April 21st. Notts Forest have a close eye on him and may well re-sign him if they can meet his wage level.

Just goes to show how football can change just like that, more than likely will have to take a pay cut to get a move at similar level.

I wonder who his wow signing will be in the summer
Stan Collymore - he could combine a Striker cum Director role for us.

A bit of glad handing in the board room with potential sponsors & player agents before kick off, onto the pitch for a quick hat trick then back in time for prawn sandwiches..

Sorry Stan I’m only pulling your leg, I fully appreciate your recent & future efforts on behalf of our club ? ?

Good luck Britt. You were one of our most exciting loanees. I have great memories of you and Gavin Tomlin in 2012 tearing Torquay's defence apart at Plainmoor with your surging runs. You scored two goals each as we won 4-1. Enjoy the kebabs and baklava!
