We haven't lost at Bury for 22 years.
The man in charge, as we attempt to keep this record intact, is the somewhat inexperienced first year League referee, Mark Brown from East Yorkshire.
This will be his 7th ever League match, the first 6 producing a slightly high-ish 19 yellow cards a red. He got his first red card on the board the Saturday before last in his first League One match and it could be considered harsh.
He has yet to preside over an away win, although his cautions have been pretty even between home and away players.
In his profile he is asked who has been the biggest influence on his career. He replies with the usual trite comments about colleagues and then adds "also my ex-wife for moving out so I could concentrate on my football and not have to listen to her moaning all day and night!".
Ross Joyce from Cleveland and Anthony Tankard from S. Yorkshire will be running the lines and Richard Bartlett from Cheshire will be 4th official.
