The atmosphere in the queue was really cheerful and relaxed and the ticket staff, although clearly under pressure, appeared to deal with the customers politely and with a smile on their faces.

Anyway, a positive experience.

Lets hope we get to find out how well they can shift 35,000 play off final tickets:) Especially with 10,000 people from Leeds down for the day all pretending to be Southend fans!!!

We sold 9,000 for vale game so wouldnt say its out of the question yet.

Really, I heard it was nearer 5790. The ticket office must be in disarray to make such a massive errror. I fully expect a statement from the club ASAP. This kind of thing simply should not happen.
