Well done and good luck to Dan Matsuzaka from our u21 squad. Who has been called up to the Japan u19 squad in todays game against England u19s. The game will be live on BT sport 2 at 3 pm.

Great to see another player from our academy get international recognition.

Great news, really does sound like a great batch of youngsters coming through. If Rea's loan isn't extended he may even end up on the bench and the fringes of the first team if we pick up any injuries or suspensions.

Lets hope we can keep them .

Thanks Bill, watching now

Will be interesting to see how Dan handles Adam Armstrong if they both make it on!

For a second i thought it was going to be a thread demanding him to play in the first team as we didn't win yesterday :winking:

Given the relative failure of all those that left before making our first team, Dom Iorfa jnr being the only one who has made more than a few appearances, and the first team opprtunities Jack, Dan and Ted have got. I wonder how many of our youngsters would now consider staying as the better career option.

I saw he was on the sub list via Twitter, did he manage to get on the pitch?
